LEADERSHIP BY INVITATION

Your Role as a Leader will take you on a journey of understanding that you can’t live the life you were designed to live without accepting to invite to lead. The short version is that you are not a leader you’re a follower. Followers allow others to make decisions for them, control the things they do, how they do them, where they do them, and who they do them with. . . . . (excerpt from the book).

Barry Smith currently lives in Corbett, Oregon, a rural community about one half hour east of Portland.  Barry and his wife Michelle, celebrated their 26th wedding anniversary earlier this year.  Michelle and Barry have two sons.  Their oldest son Scott will be graduating from the University of Hawaii this year and their youngest Spencer is a junior at Boise State University.

Barry has lived most of his life in the Portland Metro area and attended Wilson High School in Portland graduating in 1983. He graduated from the University of Idaho in 1987 with a degree in general studies and minors in psychology and industrial education.

Barry has been, and continues to be an active member of his local church community.

Partnering with the John Maxwell organization, Barry has now put his full time efforts working globally to help others reach their potential and overcome the challenges that we all face on a daily basis
